Sports, games and swimming in Tommolansalmi

Tommolansalmi has great opportunities for not only fishing, biking and rowing, but for other sports as well.

You can borrow for free the following game equipment from the camping’s reception:
• volleyball
• badminton rackets with badminton balls
• croquette sets
• bowling sets
• handlines
• various indoors games like playing cards and tabletop games
• game console games

Outdoors games can be played at our playing field. See the playing field’s location on the campsite map.

When it's raining you can borrow indoor games. Our staff can also tell you about great places to visit in Mäntyharju and in surrounding area when it's raining!

There are several swimming sites on the bank of Lake Korpijärvi. Our sandy beaches have low depth and are child-friendly. There is a private swimming beach in front of every cottage and beaches in front of the saunas (you can swim in front of the sauna if there is no one in the sauna at that time). We also have a public swimming beach with a changing cabin beside the restaurant building. See the swimming beach’s location on the campsite map.

Wintertime activities

In winter season, Tommolansalmi offers opportunities for winter fishing and for skiing in the forests around the camping. If you don’t have skis with you, borrow them for free from us together with ski boots and ski poles – just let us know in advance what your boot size is.

More courageous vacationers can also jump from sauna into an ice-hole in Lake Korpijärvi – a sure way to refresh yourself! Opportunity for ice swimming is available if the ice is thick enough. You can rent our lakeside sauna for winter swimming.

Slope-sledging and hikes on lake ice are popular wintertime activities. Winter equipment are available for free.

You can also ice-skate and ski on the lake (not possible all the time).

Most of our activities are free. Still, we would like a rental fee for fishing gear (except handlines), rowing boats and bicycles. Prices are in our price list.
