Lomakeskus Tommolansalmi (Tommolansalmi Holiday Centre) is located at Mäntyharju – in Lakeland Finland, about 200 km from Helsinki – between Mikkeli and Kouvola alongside Route 15, in a picturesque pine forest on the bank of Lake Korpijärvi, which abounds in fish and is famous for its crystalclear water.

Close to us is the Repovesi National Park, Mäntyharju-Repovesi hiking trails selected for the best outdoor destination in Finland in 2015, as well as Art Centre Salmela, which is one of the most popular summer events in Finland, as well as many other hiking and family favorites in the Southern Savonia region.

Our pleasantly small and idyllic resort is known not only for its unhurried and relaxed atmosphere, but also for its diverse activities - we have a variety of activities for travelers of all ages.

We have forests and villages full of life!

Mäntyharju, one of the Finland's most popular holiday cottage areas, is known for its sights such as the Repovesi National Park and the summer exhibitions and concerts at Art Centre Salmela.

However, the Lake Korpijärvi and Mäntyharju offer a lot more! We have nice hiking trails and attractions suitable for families with children. The cottage rental companies in our lake district have many activities suitable for families with children throughout the year. Hikers, on the other hand, enjoy the many hiking trails in our area and finding geocaches in our lake area.

In the surrounding area you will also find popular sights in the Lake Saimaa region, such as Astuvansalmi's historic rock paintings, Kärnäkoski fortress ruins and a stone-age residence in Savitaipale. Also worth visiting are the UNESCO World Heritage Site – Verla Factory Museum and the magnificent mansions in Kouvola and Mikkeli.

Opening hours 2020
• The campsite is open 15.05.-18.10.2020. We will open the summer restaurant in the beginning of June.

Holiday cottages are available year-round
• Our staff is on-site in the winter season only on request. So please contact us by e-mail or by phone and book your accommodation via our online-shop at least 24 hours before you arrive.
• We suggest that you use our online-shop to book your accommodation.

Events in 2020
In the summer of 2020, we will organize events for the whole family in our traditional way, if the coronavirus situation allows it. More information about the events is in the summer of 2020.

"SLEEP NIGHT OUTDOORS" EVENT 29.8.2020 - SLEEP IN A TENT FOR FREE!

Finnish Outdoor Association Suomen Latu challenges everybody to sleep night outdoors in August. The purpose of the day is to enjoy the wildlife and everybody's right to sleep outdoors in Finland. A person may sleep outdoors in a national park, at a campsite or even in the backyard. We respond to the challenge by offering the opportunity to come and camp in a tent for free.

Take a trip to the surrounding area! Repovesi National Park is the most popular excursion destination in our area, but if you want to avoid the crowds in the national park, visit the smaller hiking trails in our area.
